Annual Christmas at the Gallery

Crafts for kids, art demos, homemade goodies, silent auction of beautiful items by our own Working Group and more in our cozy gallery. 

Admission was free as always with tasty home baked goodies to ward off the winter chill...

Once again the Gallery Working Group ensured visitor's were well supplied with craft materials AND homebaked goodies!
Working Group members provided demos and guidance for visitors, including crafts for kids of course!
Christmas at the Gallery always includes a Silent Auction of items by the Working Group; as usual the quality of offerings was very high with several different mediums represented...

Colours Near and Far Silent Auction

The Place Near and Far Art Gallery Would invited artists to participate in the annual Colours Near and Far Silent Auction
Location: 225th Douglas Township Celebration, Kennetcook, Arts & Culture Tent
Details: There was no fee to participate, just a 15% commission of the sale price of the artwork. The artwork theme must be rural, historical, or pertaining to the 84th Foot Regiment ( reference photos are available*)

A silent Art Auction by 'The Group of Five' along with other local artists offered a wide range of styles and subjects, attracting steady interest from browsers over the weekend...

Group Spring Show - Official Opening

A coolish spring evening did not dim the bright colours in the latest show by the Gallery's Working Group. 

Textiles, wood turning, pen & ink, acrylic, watercolour and more were represented at this year's first Exhibition...

Tasty home made hors'doeuves and baked treats welcomed visitors while Kyle MacDonald provided light background music.

 

Fresh, spring & natural themes were well represented in this latest show by the Gallery's Working Group...
